Our 1-Day Open Door Shelter gives horse owners a safe place to surrender their horses if they can no longer keep them. We also offer free end of life services for horses that need humane euthanasia, but their owners can not afford it.
This 1-Day Open Door Shelter will be held at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds in Norman, Oklahoma. August 21st from 10am-6pm

This 1-Day Open Door Shelter for Horses is to help save horses from slaughter. Many owners feel they have no other option then to take the horse they can’t keep to an auction where it will most likely be purchased by a kill buyer and be shipped to slaughter.
