Thanks to your amazingly generous support of our auction fund, we were able to save 9 precious lives at the auction! They are safely at our Tennessee shelter and are enjoying settling in and getting some love, some for perhaps the first time in their lives.
Meet Maxwell Cash, a registered Tennessee Walking Horse TWHBEA # 21201905 born: 5/24/2012, gelding. He was dumped at the auction because he did not shake/bob his head enough for the show ring. We think he is a very beautiful boy, and definitely looks stunning in black.
Our rescuers did not win the bid for this amazing girl, but after the auction the kb came up to our rescuer and said “Noticed you bought a lot of horses, are you interested in that last black mare that went through? She’s too nice to ship to meat.” He even sold her to us for less than he paid for her just minutes before! Her name is Chance and she is a 2 year old.
This little mini is about 2-3 years old. Her name is Cocoa! She is so very cute.
Diamond is a young filly. She is 2 years old.Freckles is a very sweet Appy mare. We don’t have her age yet, but she is very sweet. She definitely needs some groceries to get her weight back!
This old mare is in her 30’s. She has a nasty old injury to her hind leg that was oozing puss when she arrived at our shelter. She also has scrape marks and scars all over her face. Her name is Journey.
Marty is a very handsome mule! He is a mini, and very sweet.
Marty’s best friend is named Minni, and she also is a mini mule. They are so cute together!
