Just a reminder for all of you who may not know, we partnered with Capital One awhile ago. When you sign up for a credit card (and we know not everyone wants or needs a new one, but if you do…) we get $50 after your first purchase, 2% on gas and grocery purchases, and 1% on everything else, and up to 10% at selected merchants. Wednesday was farrier day at the shelter. Clyde was such a good boy for his trimming job.
The volunteer holding him enjoyed being next to his great big face. He is such a hugely massive horse.
Clyde is in adoption pending and we are very excited for him, but we are definitely going to miss his big loveable face at the shelter.
A lot of horses were trimmed and shoes were pulled. They were all so good, farriers are always happy after it rains and the hooves soften up after the dry summer.
The Animal Rescue Site has started their 2012 $300,000 shelter challenge and we need your votes. Thanks to your votes, Chase should be bringing us the $25,000 grant very soon they awarded us late last year.
