We have have another matching donation for the trailer, this time for $1,000! Right now your donation will be matched dollar for dollar. If you donate $25 it will become $50 thanks to the match! When all these matching funds are used up there will be $2,000 more towards the new trailer for our Oklahoma shelter. We have currently raised $6,901 and if we can raise the funds to get the $1,000 matched then we will be over the half way mark for getting this trailer.
Tomorrow is my birthday and I will be 32 years old. I started Horse Plus (then NorCal) when I was 19 years old. I work hard saving as many horses from slaughter as I can. In the last 13 years nearly 4,500 animals, mostly horses, have been saved by Horse Plus. It is mind blowing when I think about it. Each horse has a special story, I have so many memories of animals pulled out of horrific situations that make my heart ache. Situations that make me question humanity and how anything could allow another living being to suffer so. Through the years so many of you have supported so faithfully both emotionally and financially. You are the ones that show me that there are good caring people in this world. The best birthday for me would be that the money would be raised for this new trailer today. That would be amazing! Is that too much to wish for?
