Tennessee Walking Horses are being abused and you can help put an end to that abuse. The USDA has finally taken a stand to put an end to the chains and stack / padded shoes the Tennessee Walkers wear in order to get the artificial gait (big lick) that the judges give the ribbons for. These horse’s lower legs are burned with caustic chemicals, then metal chains are placed around the horse’s lower legs so the horses will raise their feet even higher for the artificial gait.
The USDA Proposes New Regulations to Combat Horse Soring and we all need to back them and show our support on this very important matter.
