Thursday Angel and Little Dee were in the round pen. Angel was going to get her hooves trimmed.
Kirsty has been working with her so it is getting easier to pick up her hooves. She was a good girl getting her hooves trimmed.
She sat there patiently waiting as each hoof got done. Little Dee was close beside her at all times so she was comfortable.
Sluye also got his hooves trimmed. They are looking so much better than they were before.
Candi was worked with too. She is such a big girl!
She also enjoyed a nice grooming, it made her mane so pretty and tangle free.
Annie is in adoption pending, she has been with us for almost 2 years and we are very hopeful that she will be heading to her new home soon.
Bolo, one of the Extreme Rescue Makeover horses, was returned as it was one of the horses from the Let Em Run foundation and we didn’t have a contract protecting the trainers and horses. The trainer was afraid the same thing would happen to her that happened to Karysa.
We gave her a halter trained replacement horse. Dakota is a mustang mare who is about 4 years old. Dakota is a really pretty girl and we look forward to seeing her progress.
Dakota loaded right up into the trailer for the ride to her trainer’s home. We wish her the best of luck!
