Our next 1-Day Open Door Shelter is just a few weeks away, on December 3rd at WestWorld in Scottsdale, AZ. This is a very lovely venue, but they do require that all horses on the property have a current Coggins dated within the last 12 months. They also require any out of state horses have a current health certificate. We will be offering a Coggins reimbursement up to $35 with receipt if done within 30 days of the event. Since we started holding these 1-Day Open Door Shelters in 2016, over 200 horses that were surrendered at the events have been placed with adoption partners throughout the United States. Each one of these horses were in a situation where their owners could no longer keep them. This program helped them through their transition time and found them new homes, keeping them from ending up in the wrong hands.

If you would like to help with this event, we are looking for qualified volunteers, including on-site and transport volunteers, a volunteer vet-tech or vet assistant to help with the veterinarian evaluations and take down the information, and a volunteer horse trainer to assist our trainer with horse evaluations. We are also looking for sponsors for this event to make this event an even better success. For more information about helping, click here.

We have a printable flyer available for you to download, print, and distribute, and you can share it online. One of the best ways you can help this event, and horses, is by spreading the word. To access the PDF, click here.
