Our rescue team is at the auction right now, and there are a lot of horses. Looking into their sad eyes, eyes full of fear and confusion, we wonder how many of these beautiful animals we will be able to save tonight.
There are about 100 horses, and the usual kill buyers are here. Their budget is always much bigger than ours. We will save as many as we can, but undoubtedly horses will be sold for slaughter tonight. That always breaks our hearts.
There are all kinds of horses here tonight: miniature horses, babies, mules, all kinds. They are all in jeopardy of being killed in a foreign slaughterhouse. The horses need us, and we need you. All of the pictures in this blog are from the auction we are at taken a few minutes ago. Please help us save lives, donate right now.
