Early this morning our rescue team was at the auction preparing to sort all the horses, take pictures of each one and load them for the trip to the shelter. It was quite chilly but Tawnee, Jason and Tina worked quickly and efficiently. To watch a video of the auction intake process, click here.

Back at the shelter our shelter intake team and veterinarian team were all ready and waiting in the cold when the trailers pulled in. It seemed like it never did warm up, which made horse hugs that much warmer. Words cannot begin to express our gratitude for the outpouring of support that made this auction rescue possible. With your support, each of these 21 precious lives have been changed 180 degrees, from only facing a grim future with a short ending, to were now they have love, compassion, and the very best possible chance at an amazing, loving home.
