Horse Shelter Heroes – Episode 50 – December 10-17
In this episode: – Tractor Supply donated a Christmas tree for our office and Sarah headed down to pick it up. We cannot thank our local Tractor Supply enough for their generosity. – Horses are adopted and head to their new homes. – The Rescue Team heads to the auction where 29 precious lives are saved from the horrors of the slaughter pipeline, including one horse that the old owners desperately wanted anybody but a rescue to purchase. – After the auction, the horses are given vaccinations, deworming, electrolytes, a gelding surgery, and a whole lot more in our intake process.
