Help Save a Horse!
Imagine for a minute that you are a horse. You are currently owned by somebody who you can tell doesn’t care about you. You don’t know what you can do to make them like you, but you can tell that things are not going well. This is exactly how a number of horses are feeling right now. Their owners are planning to take them to the next auction in Cookeville, TN on Tuesday.
At auctions, horses are sold to the highest bidder. If the horse is auctioned off in the slaughter price range the horse has an 80% chance of being exported out of the United States to be slaughtered for human consumption. We will rescue as many horses as we can from that horrible fate but we need your help. Our goal this month is to rescue at least 20 horses from this auction and even more horses from auctions across the United States. Be a Horse’s Hero and help us outbid the kill buyers! We rescue horses regardless of their condition, even if they need the Last Act of Kindness. No horse deserves the horrors of the slaughter pipeline.
