The auction is only a few days away and we really need your help. We will be rescuing horses from an auction this Tuesday. There are typically 100 horses auctioned off to the highest bidder at this auction, and with your help, we will be saving as many as we can. If their prices in the slaughter price range their chances are extremely high that they will be exported into Mexico to be brutally killed in a slaughterhouse. Our goal is to prevent that from happening to as many horses as we can, and we hope to rescue at least 20 horses, but we need your help! Can we count on you to help us save lives? Without your support, we couldn’t do what we do. Each donation, whether great or small, makes a difference and helps rescue, shelter, and protect horses across America. At auctions we see many horses who are in desperate need of help. Some are emaciated and starved, many highly adoptable, some have horrible wounds, still others are extremely foundered and can barely take a step forward without horrific pain, yet each horse is run through the auction ring and sold to the highest bidder. We will be that highest bidder for as many horses as we can! With your help we will be able to say “Yes, you are safe!” to a lot of precious horses.
Will you help us outbid the kill buyers? We rescue horses that is within the slaughter price range regardless of their condition, even if it means the Last Act of Kindness. It costs us about $1,000 to rescue a horse from the auction, including purchase price, transportation, medical care, quarantine, training, adoption into a new loving home, or if necessary, the Last Act of Kindness.
