The horses range from tiny minis crippled by years of hoof neglect to blind and elderly horses struggling with chronic pain. Some arrive with laminitis, abscesses, injuries and respiratory infections.
Others are underweight, frightened and exhausted from long journeys that brought them to the auction ring.
Every horse is given immediate care, from weight checks and deworming to veterinary exams and farrier evaluations, all while settling into quarantine where healing can begin.
One standout transformation comes from a miniature horse whose hooves were so overgrown they threatened his ability to walk. With expert farrier care and x-rays, his future shifts from pain to possibility!
