Meet the Horses
We meet a variety of horses, including a sweet donkey leading perfectly, a spirited mule needing special handling, and young Mustangs like Sheila, who’s just starting her journey to trust and training. Each animal brings a unique story, personality and set of needs.

The team carefully assesses every horse’s condition, whether it’s trimming hooves, performing dental work, or managing injuries with compassion and expertise. Their thoughtful, individualized approach ensures each animal gets the best chance at recovery and adoption.

The episode also sheds light on the realities of running a rescue. From tractor mishaps to hay shortages caused by drought conditions, unexpected challenges are part of daily life.
Yet the team’s resilience shines as they coordinate hay deliveries, troubleshoot equipment setbacks and transport puppies to trusted partner organizations. Our collaboration with Nashville Humane Association expands adoption opportunities, provides additional resources and helps puppies find loving homes more quickly.
