It’s an exciting day as Dr. Lydia and Dr. Gina officially step in full-time, bringing fresh energy and much-needed support to the veterinary team. From the moment they arrive, it’s all hands on deck, reviewing protocols and jumping straight into care.
Tiny Lives, Big Responsibility
A group of vulnerable puppies quickly becomes a priority. Though they appear healthy, closer exams reveal dehydration and the effects of undernourished mothers. Instead of invasive treatments, the team carefully rehydrates them with warm milk replacer, giving them a gentler path to recovery.
It’s a powerful reminder that even when animals look okay, they still need close, compassionate care.
A Quick Surgery, A Second Chance
In the middle of the cold snap, a dog scheduled for adoption gets an unexpected but life-changing procedure. The team performs a quick neuter so he can safely head home the very same day, avoiding another stressful trip back.

Healing & Hope for Fiesta
Fiesta, a young filly recovering from a serious injury, reaches a major milestone. After weeks of careful treatment, her wounds have healed beautifully. She’s officially cleared to begin training and may even have a future as a riding horse.
Her journey is one of resilience and a testament to the patience it takes to truly rehabilitate!
When Staff Are Few, Dedication Shows
With team members away, sick, or dealing with personal loss, those on-site step into unfamiliar roles to keep everything running. From barn work to front desk duties, everyone pitches in.
Even in the chaos, there’s a strong sense of unity and purpose.
Racing Against the Weather
As freezing rain approaches, urgency sets in. Horses, cows, and donkeys must be safely moved into barns before conditions turn dangerous. Broken hoses, icy ground and exhaustion make the task even harder.
But one by one, every animal is brought in, fed and settled. No one is left behind….
