It’s Friday evening and most people are thinking about the weekend, but our rescue team is thinking about the upcoming auction in just a few days. How many horses will we be able to save? So far we have only raised enough funds to rescue and shelter 3 horses. Our goal is to save 20, but we can only do that with your help. It costs us an average of $1,000 to save a horse’s life from the auction, transport it to our shelter, give it vaccinations, antibiotics, veterinarian care, farrier care, quarantine and shelter until it finds it’s adoptive home. We still have a long ways to go to reach our goal, but if everyone on our mailing list donated just $1, we would be there!
