23 Rescued!! Thank You Horse Heroes!!

With the help of our amazing supporters, we were able to rescue 23 horses out of the slaughter pipeline tonight!! This was only made possible with you, and we want to send a huge thank you to each and every one of you. We couldn’t have done this without your help and support.

WARNING: Many of these horses rescued tonight are in critical condition and this video shows that, it’s heartbreaking and hard to watch, but our rescue team is on the front lines and they have to experience this firsthand. First thing tomorrow morning, we will transport all the rescued horses back to our shelter. Our veterinarian and intake team will be awaiting our arrival to start the intake process. Each horse will be individually evaluated and receive lots of love and the best possible care. We rescued a lot of horses in very critical condition and some will need the Last Act of Kindness as it is the kindest option that we can give them to relieve their chronic suffering. There are many horses who we know will be cleared for adoption. They will stay in our quarantine facility for 30 days before coming down to the main part of our facility and getting adopted by a loving family! You truly are Horse Heroes!
