Building Better Spaces for Healing
The day begins with improving the round pen, carefully measuring, expanding and painting it bright green. These upgrades are not just about looks. A safe, well designed space is critical for training, filming, and helping horses gain confidence as they prepare for adoption.
It is a reminder that rescue starts with the environment we create for healing.
Behind the Scenes of Adoption
CJ walks us through the adoption application process, explaining how every application is reviewed with care. Photos of fencing, shelters, and pastures help ensure each animal goes to a safe and suitable home.
Horses are not the only ones finding families here. Pigs, goats, dogs and cats also get second chances through the same thoughtful process. The goal is always the same: lifelong, responsible homes!
When Medical Care Gets Hard
Veterinary care is a major part of rescue life. Dr. Duncan performs exams, Coggins tests, X-rays and treatments for incoming horses with complex medical needs.
One of the most emotional moments comes with Reba, a horse suffering from severe founder and bone rotation. After careful evaluation, the team makes the heartbreaking decision to go through a final act of kindness.
