Tomorrow we will be driving almost 3 hours to save precious lives at the auction. We really need your help! Right now we have funds to rescue and shelter 10 horses, and our goal is to save 20. Our quarantine pens are ready and waiting, but we haven’t raised the funds needed to fill up our waiting pens. At this auction, there are typically 100 horses, and often more, that sell to the highest bidder. Some are only in the auction ring for seconds. We can only rescue as many horses as we have the funds to rescue and care for, so it is very important that we have the funds raised before the auction.
I really hope that we are able to save 20, or more, horses tomorrow. I know that you will do what you can to make that goal possible. If everyone donates, even just $1, that is on our mailing list, we would have enough funds to rescue and care for 16 horses. Just $1! That’s the power of our community.
