The horses arrived at our shelter safely! We ended up rescuing 37 horses, one of the horses we bid on did not make it onto our bill and we thought we must have lost it to someone else. This morning the office staff told us that they didn’t get her on our bill. We were overjoyed and were very happy to pay for her. Once the horses arrived at our shelter the waiting intake staff went to work. Every horse was seen by our shelter veterinarian, farriers were able to promptly care for any needed hoof care, and all the horses were given everything they needed. To see some photos from the day, click here.
