URGENT: We are at the auction right now – Please Help!

We are at the auction right now and there are around 65 horses who will soon be auctioned off to the highest bidder. This Christmas you can help us change the world for a horse. Our goal tonight is to save 15 horses. We can do this with your support! These horses are at an auction right now and desperate to find a safe place, a loving soul, and with your help, we can give them that.

Each donation makes a difference and a huge impact on the lives of the horses at the auction tonight. They are counting on us to save them, and we need your help to save horses in need. We want to rescue as many horses as we can, our goal is to rescue 15. With your donation, we can save horses and give them a Christmas miracle.

On average it costs about $1,000 to rescue a horse out of the slaughter pipeline, transport the horse to our shelter where the horse receives veterinarian and farrier examination. Upon arrival they are given vaccinations, deworming, they are microchipped, and given antibiotics, and whatever the veterinarian thinks the horse needs, and then 30 days of quarantine. When their quarantine is over they will be individually evaluated by our trainer and adopted into loving homes. On average horses will be at our shelter 90 days before being adopted, during this time they will be receiving the best possible care to better their health. When we have an interest in a horse, a potential adopter makes an appointment to come out and meet the horse to see if they would be a good fit for their family. We love seeing our horses go to amazing homes and do our best to place every horse in the right homes where they will get the best possible care and live a full and happy life… This horse would love to have a chance at a happy life.

We will rescue any horse regardless of their condition, even if they need the Last Act of Kindness. Because we believe all horses deserve love and kindness, no matter what stage of life they are in.

So tonight, as we are at the auction, we need your help to rescue these precious lives who could be on their way to slaughter if not intercepted. When we are bidding on horses tonight we will be bidding in the slaughter price range against the kill buyers. If a horse goes above the slaughter price range and we see that a private person is trying to get the horse we will drop out.
