The 33 horses are safely back at our shelter and have all been seen by our vet and went through our intake process. Auction rescues are very demanding. The first day we travel almost 3 hours to the auction, the auction doesn’t get over until midnight usually, leaving only a few hours of sleep for our rescue team. First thing the next morning they are at the auction yard again doing the initial intake process and sorting the horses at the auction. Then the long journey back to the shelter where the real work begins. Watch the video to see what happened today to the 33 horses we rescued at this auction.
