We would make a huge difference in the lives of so many horses! We have raised enough funds to rescue and shelter 12 horses so far! It cost approximately $1,000 to rescue a horse from auction, transport it to our shelter, give it veterinarian care, vaccinations, antibiotics, deworming, microchipped, and farrier care, 30 days of quarantine, training and provide sheltering while in our adoption program.
There are some horses at auction that our Mercy Saves, these are suffering horses that should have been humanely euthanized but their owners took them to auction instead. We rescue as many of these horses as we can, give them love and kindness and be there for them in the end, it’s heartbreaking but every animal deserves love and compassion.
